pimp dein teelicht - pimp your tea light
teelichtdeko: eine ganz simple aber sehr dekorative art, seine teelichter für eine feier oder einfach, um ein wenig frühlingslaune herbeizuzaubern, ist das aufhübschen mit schönen papieren und bordürenlochern;
tea light deco: a very easy but decorative way to pimp your tea lights for a party or just to get some spring feeling, it to decorate them with nice papers and border punches;
man braucht: doppelklebeband, cutter, lineal, bordürenlocher zB von martha stewart, von hier: www.stempelshop-creativ.de, bordürenlocher
EK Success Carnation Petals, von hier: www.stempelshop-creativ.de, weisses druckerpapier, leinenpapier mit streifen (gibt’s hier in meinem shop), scrapbookingpapier, zB von stampin‘ up! zu beziehen über www.papieriges.de
so geht’s:
1. länge der streifen = umfang der teelichthalterung + ca. 1,5cm – 2cm überlappung
2. höhe der teelichthalterung messen, weisses papier mit dem bordürenlocher lochen und so breit schneiden, dass sich die bordüre über der halterung befindet
3. streifenpapier mit dem „carnation petals“ locher stanzen
4. aus scrapbooking papier einen streifen in der höhe der teelichthalterung + 5mm schneiden
5. weisses papier um des teelicht legen und die überlappung mit doppelklebeband festkleben
6. den unteren gerade streifen der streifenbordüre auf der rückseite mit doppelklebeband versehen, die „blätter“ leicht nach aussen knicken und die bordüre unterhalb der weissen lochbordüre um das teelicht kleben
7. die rückseite des scrapbookingpapiers mit doppelklebeband versehen und auf die streifenbordüre kleben, so dass die blätter nach außen abstehen; das nach unten überstehende papier entlang des bodens der teelichthalterung gerade abschneiden
tipp: das weisse papier wurde absichtlich nicht an die teelichthalterung geklebt, so dass sie wieder verwendet werden kann. natürlich kann diese dekoidee auch für hohe blockkerzen verwendet werden.

how to do:
1. length of the stripes = circumference oft he tea light holder + approx. 1,5cm – 2cm overlap
2. measure the height of the tea light holder, punch the white paper with the border punch and cut in a width so that the pattern is visible above the tea light holder
3. punch the sriped paper using the „carnation petals“ punch
4. cut a stripe out of scrapbooking paper in the height of the tea light holder + 5mm
5. place the white paper around the tea light and glue the ends together with double sided tape
6. add double sided tape onto to the back lower stripe of the striped border, fold the little „leaves“ slightly to the outside and glue the border around the tea light, below the white border
7. add double sided tape onto to the back side of the scrapbooking paper and glue it onto the striped border, so that the leaves can stand away; cut of the paper along the lower edge of the tea light holder
hint: by purpose the white paper hasn’t been glued onto the tea light holder so that it can be used again. of course you can use this idea as well for higher candles.

leere und gut gesäuberte plastikflaschen, sprühlack, zB do-it colorspray von marabu (darauf achten, dass die farbe für kunststoffe geeignet ist), klebestift, schere, motivschere mit zackenrand, cutter, cutter mit wellenrand, doppelklebeband, lineal, masking tape, stoffrest, häkelbordüre, häkelblume, webband tulpe (in meinem shop erhältlich), scrapbooking-papier, tonpapier, bordürenlocher spitzenband, zB von stampin‘ up! über www.papieriges.de oder martha stewart über www.stempelshop-creativ.de;

2. mit webband: aus dem tonpapier einen 4,5cm breiten streifen schneiden und die kanten mit einer herzstanze verzieren. webband mit doppelklebeband mittig auf den tonpapierstreifen kleben. auf der rückseite doppelseitiges klebeband anbringen, schutzpapier abziehen und auf die flasche kleben. enden ca. 2cm überlappen lassen. das webbandende nach innen umknicken und mit kleinen handstichen festnähen.
2. with ribbon: cut a 4,5cm stripe off the cardstock and decorate the edges with an edge punch. glue the ribbon onto the centre of the stripe using double-sided-tape. add double sided tape onto the backside of the stripe, take off the paper and stick it onto the bottle. the ends do overlap by approx. 2cm. the end of the ribbon is folded to the back and will be sewn on by little hand stitches.
3. mit stoff: auf die rückseite des stoffes ein ca. 5cm breites doppelklebeband kleben. die kanten mit einem wellenrand-cutter abschneiden. stoffstreifen um die flasche legen und die länge inklusive ca, 2cm überlappung abmessen. kurze kante ebenfalls mit dem wellencutter abschneiden, dass diese nicht ausfranzt. häkelbordüre mittig aufnähen. häkelblüte mit kleinen handstichen unsichtbar festnähen. schutzpapier vorsichtig abziehen und den stoffstreifen auf die flasche kleben.
3.with fabric: glue an approx. 5cm wide double-sided-tape onto the backside of the fabric. cut the edges using a cutter with waves. place the fabric around the bottle and measure the length including approx. 2cm overlap. cut the short edge as well using the wave cutter so that they don't fray out. sew the crochet lace onto the centre of the stripe. sew on the crochet flower with small invisible hand stitches. take off the paper carefully and glue the fabric onto the bottle.
4. mit masking tape: masking tape auf die flasche aufkleben, enden leicht überlappen und abschneiden.

ich hab ihm eine schlichte graue wollfilz hülle mit einer stickerei genäht

wenn ihr auch auch eine nähen möchtet habe ich hier die passende

if you also want to sew one you can use this free instruction (please only use it privately, thanks for that!)
1. du brauchst 2 stücke wollfilz je
17,5cm hoch und 12,5cm breit, für die tasche 12,5cm hoch, 10,5cm breit
oben und 9,5cm breit unten, alle teile inklusive nahtzugaben. verzierung
nach belieben, hier zb ein besticktest stoffstück, farblich passendes
oder kontrastfarbenes nähgarn.
in vorder- und rückteil jeweils mittig eine ca. 1,5cm tiefe und 3,5cm breite runde kerbe schneiden.

lagen filz legen und mit stecknadeln rechts und links eine ca. 3cm
breite öffnung für das ladekabel markieren (tipp: die öffnung ist nicht
unbedingt notwendig, da der kindle auch umgekehrt in die hülle gesteckt
werden kann und somit zum laden nicht aus der hülle entnommen werden
muss, das hat mein freund gleich angemerkt, dass die öffnung nicht
unbedingt nötig ist, also kann dieser schritt auch ausgelassen werden
:-) )
3. place the kindle between both layers of felt and use pins to mark an approx. 3cm opening
at the left and right side of the charging cable (hint: this opening is
not neccessarily needed as the kindle can also be placed into the cover
upside down and doesn't have to be taken out of the cover for charging,
my boyfriend immediately mentioned that the opening is not needed so you
can also leave it :-) )
4. mit stecknadeln die position der tasche auf dem vorderteil markieren: 1,5cm zu allen kanten (rechts, unten und links)

(tipp: wer möchte kann die obere offene taschenkante vor dem aufnähen

pinterest pin-it-button in blogger einfügen
seid ihr auch so im pinterest-fieber wie ich und möchtet euren lesern
die möglichkeit bieten, eure postings ganz schnell und einfach bei
pinterest zu pinnen?
heute habe ich bei hamburger liebe
den pin-it-button unter jedem posting entdeckt und wollte den auch
unbedingt haben, die liebe susanne hat sofort reagiert und mich auf einen blog verwiesen, auf dem es eine anleitung dafür gibt;
leider hat mir die anleitung nicht ganz weitergeholfen, weil ich im
neuen blogger-layout arbeite und mich nicht nicht so recht damit
auskenne, aber mit kirsten's anleitung hab ich es dennoch, nach ein
bisschen suchen, gefunden.
wenn ihr - wie ich - mit dem neuen layout arbeitet, dann habe ich euch jetzt hier die anleitung dafür:
1. auf design klicken
2. auf "html bearbeiten" klicken
3. auf fortfahren klicken
4. "widget vorlagen komplett anzeigen" anklicken,
dann rechts nach unten scrollen, bis ihr "quickedit pencil" findet,
dann rechts nach unten scrollen, bis ihr "quickedit pencil" findet,
dann wie bei kirsten beschrieben den quellcode einfügen
5. dann würde ich erst mal auf "vorschau" klicken, um zu sehen, ob es funktioniert hat...

gestern hab ich meinen alten kalender gefunden, dessen bilder ich eigentlich mal rahmen wollte; allerdings sind sie so groß und meine wohnung ist nicht so groß als dass sie alle platz hätten; bevor die bilder noch zu sehr verknittern hab ich beschlossen, daraus kunterbunte briefumschläge zu machen
yesterday I found my old calender, who’s pics I actually wanted to frame; however they are so big and my flat is not so big to have room for all of them; before the pics will get damaged I decided to make colourful envelopes out of them

vorlage für den umschlag ausdrucken, auf karton kleben und ausschneiden (die vorlage kann ich euch per mail schicken, hoffentlich find ich noch raus, wie man ein pdf in den blog als download einfügt, danke für ratschläge :-))

schablone auf die vorderseite der kalenderblätter nach laune auflegen, mit bleistift nachfahren und ausschneiden (wenn ihr auf die vorseite zeichnet seht ihr den musterverlauf besser, falls die vorlage verrutscht können die bleistiftlinien später wegradiert werden)
place mould onto the front side of the calender pages as you like, draw around it with the pencil and cut (if you draw on the front you can better see the patterns of the pages, if the mould shifts you can easily erase the pencil lines later)

lineal an die „ecken“ legen und erst seitenteile, dann unterteil und schliesslich die obere lasche umklappen und festdrücken
place ruler onto the „edges“ and fold in the sidepanels first, then the lower part and at last the upper flap, then press

seitenlaschen mit kleber bestreichen und umschlag zukleben, zum pressen und fest werden am besten ein paar minuten in ein dickes buch legen

bedruckbare etiketten bedrucken und auf die vordere umschlagseite aufkleben
die fertige größe enspricht dem standard C6

ihr könnt die umschläge mit kleber, doppelklebeband, einem adressaufkleber oder sticker auf der rückseite schliessen

auch gut zum verbrauchen alter landkarten, ich hab mal umschläge gekauft, die sehen echt witzig aus ;-)
